Return & Refund Policy

At AlifMart, we work hard to ensure you receive fresh, high-quality products every time. This Return & Refund Policy explains how returns, replacements, and refunds are handled for different product categories.

By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.

1. Items Eligible for Return

Returns are accepted only under the following conditions:

You received a damaged, expired, wrong, or missing item.

The product is defective upon delivery.

Packaging is severely damaged at the time of delivery.

Customers must report the issue within 24 hours of receiving the order.

2. Items NOT Eligible for Return

Due to the nature of the products, we cannot accept returns for:

Fresh meat, chicken, beef, fish, eggs

Perishable groceries (milk, bread, fresh fruits/vegetables)

Frozen or temperature-sensitive items

Opened or partially used products

Items damaged after delivery due to mishandling

Bulk or wholesale orders unless damaged on arrival

These rules ensure product safety and maintain hygiene standards.

3. Return Conditions

A return or replacement may be issued only if:

You provide clear photo/video proof of the issue

The issue is reported within 24 hours of delivery

The item is in original packaging (where applicable)

Our support team will verify the claim before proceeding.

4. Replacement Policy

If the product qualifies for replacement:

We will arrange free replacement delivery (based on availability), or

Issue a refund if the item is out of stock

For meat & fresh items, replacement is available same day, if stock permits.

5. Refund Policy

Refunds are issued in the following situations:

Item delivered was damaged, wrong, or missing

Order was cancelled by AlifMart

Customer cancelled before packing/shipping (where allowed)

Refund will be processed to the original payment method or as AlifMart Credits, based on customer preference.

Estimated Refund Timelines

UPI / Wallet: 1–3 business days

Cards / Net Banking: 3–7 business days

COD Refunds: Via bank transfer or AlifMart Credits (1–3 days)

6. No Refunds For

Refunds will NOT be issued if:

Customer provided wrong address or was unavailable

Item was damaged after delivery

Product quality issues are reported after 24 hours

Perishable items were not stored properly

Buyer’s remorse (“I don’t want it anymore”)

7. Order Cancellation

a) Customer Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled before packing begins.

Meat and fresh products cannot be cancelled once processing has started.

b) AlifMart Cancellations

We may cancel an order due to:

Stock unavailability

Incorrect address

Payment issues

Fake or suspicious orders

Refund will be processed automatically (if applicable).

8. High-Value Orders (Above ₹500)

As per our Payment Policy:

AlifMart may require advance payment for orders above ₹500.

If advance payment is not made, the order may be declined or cancelled to avoid fake orders.

Refunds for such cancellations will follow standard refund timelines.

9. How to Request a Return or Refund

To raise an issue, contact us within 24 hours of delivery with:

Order ID

Clear photos/videos of the issue

Description of the problem

Our team will review and respond promptly.
